Our sailing courses are suitable for both the complete beginner and those who have some dinghy sailing experience, children and adults. You will be taught about safety at sea as well as learning to master the essentials. It's very much a hands on course and the perfect opportunity to experience the freedom of yacht sailing.

By the end of this course you will have sufficient knowledge and skill to be a useful and able crew member on any sailing yacht. Our sailing courses are great fun and  very popular!

We have a range of different sailing boats that will help you progress as you level up and progress in a well structured and easy way.

Sailing Lesson

Meeting & Preparation

We meet at our preferred beach where the water is flat, you will get to know your instructor and receive a briefing about the general rules during your course and from there we will go straight to water to start the lesson.

Start Sailing Course Content
- Introduction to equipment, names and purposes etc. 
- Introduction to wind awareness
- On water
- Learn to steer
- Intro to sailing up wind
- Tacking and Jibing
- Controlling boat speed

*Please note, all of us learn at different speeds. It is not guaranteed that you will be up and riding the foil buy the end of the course. But, you will be able to competently practice alone and we are always on hand to give advice when you are out on the water. Additional hourly tuition is also available

Requirements
- Minimum age: 8 years old
- Minimum weight: 30kg
- Physical health
- Swimming ability

• Lessons will have up to 3 students per session maximum
• 1 lesson = 1 or 2 hours
